The firm is comprised of two certified public accountants, Jim Frankson, Mike Griffith, and five paraprofessionals. Jim Frankson graduated from Texas A&M University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. His professional affiliations include the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as a member of the tax section. An active member of his community, Jim has served as President of the Bay City Lions Club, Chairman of the Bay City Chamber of Commerce, and Treasurer for the Matagorda County Economic Development Corporation. Currently, he serves as his church’s accountant. Mike Griffith graduated in 1981 from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. His professional affiliations include the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as a member of the Private Companies Section. Mike has served as Treasurer of the Matagorda County Crimestoppers, Treasurer of the Matagorda County Industrial Foundation and Treasurer of the Matagorda Chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. Currently he is a member of Bay City Lions Club, Sons of the Republic of Texas and serves as Chairman of the Port of Bay City Authority. Together, Jim and Mike have over fifty years of experience in accounting. Though all income tax returns are prepared by Mike or Jim, their staff of five paraprofessionals has a combined eighty years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax services.
